Learn & Practice
Maria demonstrates, listens, and provides real-time feedback on technique, musicality, and interpretation โ just like in person.

After each lesson, Maria sends practice notes and recordings so you know exactly what to work on before the next session.

For children ages 5โ7, we generally recommend in-person lessons to allow hands-on guidance. Children ages 8+ typically do well online.

- โA device with a camera โ laptop, tablet, or phone. Laptop on the music stand works great.
- โStable internet connection โ Wi-Fi or ethernet. Most home connections are fine.

- โA quiet space โ ideally with minimal background noise and distractions.

Are online piano lessons as effective as in-person?

Can young children take online lessons?
Online works best for ages 8+. Younger children (5โ7) generally benefit more from in-person lessons where Maria can physically guide hand position and posture.
What if my internet connection drops?
Brief interruptions are normal and don't significantly impact the lesson. If a connection issue lasts more than a few minutes, Maria will make up the lost time.
Do I need an expensive piano for online lessons?
No! A good quality digital piano with weighted keys (starting around $400-500) works well. Maria can recommend specific models based on your budget and goals.
What time zone are you in?
