Maria is a classically trained pianist with degrees from the Mannes School of Music in New York City (full scholarship, dean’s award) and the Moscow Conservatory (with distinction).

Her artistic excellence has been recognized with numerous awards, including The Steinway Award (2023), Newton Swift Piano Award (2023), LSU Foundation Award (2022–2023), and the Schonberg Pianists Award (2022–2023).

Lessons are held at Maria’s studio in Bellevue or online from anywhere. Upon agreement, in-home lessons are also available in Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond, Seattle, and nearby areas for an additional charge.
