Maria is a classically trained pianist with degrees from the Mannes School of Music in New York City (full scholarship, dean’s award) and the Moscow Conservatory (with distinction).
A seasoned performer, Maria has appeared on prestigious stages including Carnegie Hall in New York City and The Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow. Her artistic excellence has been recognized with numerous awards, including The Steinway Award (2023), Newton Swift Piano Award (2023), LSU Foundation Award (2022–2023), and the Schonberg Pianists Award (2022–2023).

Maria is a classically trained pianist and a graduate of a prestigious Collaborative Piano program in New York, where she studied on a full scholarship. She combines top-level professional training with a warm, encouraging teaching style. Students love how she makes complex ideas feel simple, and parents appreciate the clear progress and motivation their children gain.
Yes. A trial lesson lets you experience the teaching style and discuss a personalized learning plan.
No. Lessons are tailored for complete beginners as well as experienced students.
We offer exam and competition preparation, including RCM and ABRSM certificates, local and international competitions, and conservatory auditions. Many of Maria’s students progress rapidly and enjoy performing at studio recitals, gaining both confidence and recognition.
Lessons are available for children starting at 5 years old and for adults of any age.
Lessons are held at Maria’s studio in Bellevue or online from anywhere. Upon agreement, in-home lessons are also available in Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond, Seattle, and nearby areas for an additional charge.
Most lessons are 30, 45, or 60 minutes, depending on age, level, and goals.
